Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Islamabad

Arrive in Pakistan’s modern capital city nestled against the Margalla Hills. Free time to explore or rest.

Day 2 - Drive to Swat Valley

Journey through the Northwest Frontier to the scenic Swat Valley. Visit the Swat Museum to see Gandharan artifacts.

Day 3 - Swat to Ayun

Drive through Chakdarra and cross Lowari Pass into Chitral. Arrive in Ayun, staying in a princely residence.

Day 4–5 - Kalash Valley Exploration

Travel to Kalash Valley, home to one of the world’s oldest indigenous communities. Stay in Balanguru, hike to nearby villages, and learn about Kalash culture and traditions.

Day 6 - Kalash to Chitral

Explore Chitral town and Chitral National Park, watch a mountain polo match, and search for markhor.

Day 7 - Chitral to Mastuj

Spectacular drive through Mastuj Valley and into the Wakhan corridor. Stay near the historic Mastuj Fort.

Day 8 - Shandur Pass to Yasin Valley

Cross the legendary Shandur Pass (3,800m), with optional walk to Langer Plains, and descend into the verdant Yasin Valley.

Day 9 - Gilgit and on to Hunza

Explore Gilgit before continuing to Hunza Valley. Witness Mount Rakaposhi from a scenic roadside point. Overnight in Karimabad.

Day 10 - Discover Hunza

Visit Baltit Fort, Altit Fort, and enjoy panoramic views from Duikar (Eagle’s Nest). Optional cultural walk through irrigation channels.

Day 11 - Attabad Lake & Hoper Glacier

See the glacial Attabad Lake and take a walk on Hoper Glacier. Stop for lunch at a scenic garden café and return to Hunza.

Day 12 - Return to Gilgit

Drive back to Gilgit with a stopover at Rakaposhi Viewpoint. Relax or explore the town.

Day 13 - Gilgit to Naran

Scenic road trip through the Karakoram Highway. If Babusar Pass is closed, reroute via Besham. Stay overnight in Naran.

Day 14 - Naran to Islamabad via Taxila

Visit ancient Taxila, a center of Buddhist learning and ruins from Alexander the Great’s era. Return to Islamabad.

Day 15 - Islamabad City Tour

Tour Faisal Mosque, Pakistan Monument, and Lok Virsa Museum. Farewell dinner before departure.
