Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Islamabad

Arrive in Islamabad and settle into your hotel. Explore the leafy boulevards of Pakistan’s capital or relax at your leisure. Guests arriving early can stroll through nearby markets or enjoy views of the Margalla Hills.

Day 2 - Fly to Gilgit & Drive to Ghizer (Punial Valley)

Catch an early flight to Gilgit, where your guide will welcome you. Begin your journey through Ghizer District, stopping to explore the vineyards of Punial and local villages like Sherqilla. Overnight stay in Gahkuch, the district capital.

Day 3 - Gupis Valley Exploration

Venture into Gupis Valley to visit Khalti Lake—famous for its trout fish—and tour historic sites like Gupis Fort. Discover stone megaliths and visit scenic villages such as Hakkis and Dahimal.

Day 4 - Phander Valley – Land of Four Lakes

Drive to Phander, known for its stunning blue river and iconic lakes. Walk alongside Phander Lake, enjoy views of surrounding peaks, and visit Gulagmuli and Shamarn villages. Return to your eco-lodge for a peaceful night.

Day 5 - Journey into Yasin Valley

Explore the remote Yasin Valley, birthplace of Nishan-e-Haider recipient Lalak Jan. Visit Hundur, Thoi, and Sultanabad. Experience the valley’s diverse culture and fruit orchards amid towering peaks.

Day 6 - Yasin’s Historical Legacy

Learn about Yasin’s past, including the famed story of British explorer George Hayward. Explore Darkut, Moduri Fort, and witness harvest-ready wheat fields if visiting in late summer. Optional local hike available.

Day 7 - Discover Ishkoman Valley

Travel to Ishkoman, one of the most diverse valleys in Gilgit-Baltistan. Meet locals speaking Wakhi, Shina, Khowar, and Burushaski. Visit villages like Chatorkhand and Ghotolti, and admire glaciers on the Afghan border.

Day 8 - Return to Gilgit

Day 9 - Fly to Islamabad & Departure
